Over the final four months of the season, Diaz posted a 2.83 ERA and 1.14 WHIP, though his K% remained lower than his previous seasons. The Reds haven't added any competition to the back end of the bullpen to date, so it appears that Diaz will get a full chance to redeem himself to start 2025.

Impact Young began last season with the Reds before being traded to the Giants and then finishing the year with the Mets. The left-handed reliever dealt with back problems in 2024 but has been pretty effective since 2022 when available, posting a 3.28 ERA and 86:38 K:BB over 96 innings. Impact Stephenson receives a $2.4 million raise in his second year of arbitration eligibility after slashing .258/.338/.444 and setting new career highs with 19 homers, 69 runs scored and 66 RBI in 2024. The Reds' offseason acquisition of Jose Trevino shouldn't cut too much into Stephenson's playing time, and the 28-year-old still projects as one of the better offensive backstops in the majors.

Impact Lodolo finished last season with a 4.76 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 115.1 innings and continued to struggle with injuries, as calf, groin and finger issues all caused him to miss several chunks of the year. When healthy, the 26-year-old southpaw has shown flashes of what once made him a top prospect, but he'll be hard for fantasy managers to trust until he proves he can stay off the injured list for an extended period of time.

Impact Acquired from the Dodgers via trade earlier this week, Lux had been arbitration-eligible for the second time. The 27-year-old slashed .251/.320/.383 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI across 487 plate appearances during the 2024 regular season with the Dodgers and is in line for regular reps against righties with his new team in 2025.
