ImpactHermosillo landed on the 10-day injured list with a left forearm strain Wednesday, and acting manager Andy Green said that the injury will require several weeks of recovery. While the 26-year-old will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, he should be ready for the start of spring training in 2022. Hermosillo appeared in 16 games for the Cubs this year and hit .194 with three doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and five runs.
