Connor Kaiser - Moves to MiLB campThe Rockies reassigned Kaiser to minor-league camp Sunday.
ImpactKaiser reached the big leagues for the first time in 2023, logging four plate appearances over three games with Colorado. The 27-year-old infielder was moved off the Rockies' 40-man roster last July and was attending camp as a non-roster invitee, but he wasn't a serious candidate to be included on Colorado's Opening Day roster. He'll likely begin the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Albuquerque.

Elly De La Cruz - Mashes first spring homerDe La Cruz had a home run and two walks during Saturday's spring game against Colorado.
ImpactDe La Cruz crushed his first spring home run off Cal Quantrill's 1-1 sinker that stayed up in the zone. De La Cruz later committed an error that led to four unearned runs. In five Cactus League appearances, he's 5-for-12 with two extra-base hits, three walks, three runs and two RBI.

Noelvi Marte - Makes spring debutMarte started at third base and went 1-for-2 in Saturday's spring game against the Rockies.
ImpactMarte made his spring debut after coping with a hamstring injury that delayed his participation in game action. He hit a couple of balls hard and told Mark Sheldon of MLB.com that he felt comfortable out there before he was removed in the fourth inning. "It was good to have Marte back, he looked good," manager David Bell said. "We didn't want to do anything crazy on the bases, but he was 100 percent. He's completely freed up to play his normal game next time out." Marte should have enough time to build up for Opening Day and is projected to be the Reds' primary third baseman.
