Jonathan India - Remains sidelinedIndia (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres.
ImpactIndia left Thursday's game against the Dodgers with a hamstring injury and hasn't seen the field since then. The Reds hinted at a possible move to the injured list for India on Sunday, though no such move has been made yet. Injured list transactions can be backdated three days, so the team could place India on the list Monday and have him available one week later. Brandon Drury remains the starter at second base in his absence.

Luis Castillo - Another live BP session plannedCastillo (shoulder) threw 20 pitches in a live batting practice session Friday and will have another such session on Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
ImpactCastillo doesn't yet have a schedule set to go on a rehab assignment, but it might occur shortly after Tuesday's session if all goes well. Given that Castillo hasn't pitched in any game action yet, he's likely going to need multiple rehab starts before getting activated.

Jonathan India - Possible IL tripThe Reds could decide to put India (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list if he's not ready to play Monday against the Padres, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports....
ImpactThe Reds played short-handed all weekend against the Dodgers and really struggled without India's bat in the lineup. Placing India on the IL won't cure that, obviously, but it would give the Reds another bat to mix and match late in games.

Nick Senzel - Traveling to next seriesSenzel (illness) has not tested positive for COVID-19 and will travel to San Diego on his own for the Reds next series against the Padres, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enqui...
ImpactIt appears that Senzel could return to action in the near future. Bell further clarified that there are no signs that Senzel is dealing with vertigo, which plagued him earlier in his minor-league career.

Gavin Lux - Scores twice, swipes bagLux went 0-for-2 with two walks, two runs and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-1 win over Cincinnati.
ImpactThough Lux didn't notch any hits, he drew a pair of free passes to extend his season-opening on-base streak to nine games. The 24-year-old notched a solid 10.9 percent walk rate last season, but he has shown even more patience at the plate in 2022 by upping that rate to 21.9 percent, posting a 7:6 BB:K through 33 plate appearances. Lux has stood out among Dodgers hitters thus far with a .320/.455/.560 slash line, three extra-base hits (a double, triple and homer), five RBI and two steals. His Statcast numbers support the authenticity of the strong start, as Lux ranks in the top 10 percent leaguewide in average exit velocity, hard-hit percentage and xwOBA.
