Lucas Sims - Notches four-out saveSims allowed a hit and struck out four over 1.1 innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Milwaukee.
ImpactPitching for the third time in four days, Sims was able to lock down his seventh save of the year with little trouble. The 27-year-old has a 4.23 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 43:14 K:BB across 27.2 innings this season. He remains the favorite for save chances, but Amir Garrett could get a ninth-inning assignment soon given Sims' heavy workload recently.

ImpactMahle nearly ended up with a no-decision, but Cincinnati took the lead in the top of the seventh before Brad Brach was brought in to relieve the right-hander. Wednesday was Mahle's fifth consecutive win, and it's the first time this year he's racked up double-digit strikeouts. The 26-year-old has a 3.39 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 90:23 K:BB across 74.1 innings. He's projected for a road start in Minnesota next week.

ImpactTwo of the five hits Peralta allowed were RBI doubles, which accounted for the runs he gave up. The right-hander hasn't allowed more than two runs in a start since May 5, a span of seven straight starts. He has a 2.28 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 104:29 K:BB across 75 innings this year. Peralta lines up for a favorable road start in Arizona next week.
