Blue Jays vs. Cardinals Prediction, Odds, Picks - September 13
Jakob Junis - Sharp again in no-decisionJunis didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on three hits over five innings. He struck out three.
ImpactMasyn Winn's home run in the third inning was the lone mark on Junis' line Thursday. The right-hander's been excellent in his last two starts with Cincinnati, allowing just one run on four hits over 10 innings, though he's ultimately come away with no-decisions in both outings. Overall, Junis is 4-0 on the season with a 2.73 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 42:7 K:BB across 56 innings between the Reds and Brewers. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with Atlanta next week.

JoJo Romero - Grabs first saveRomero earned the save in Thursday's 6-1 win over Cincinnati, allowing two hits over 1.1 scoreless innings.
ImpactRomero recorded the final out in the eighth inning, preserving a 3-1 Cardinals lead, before St. Louis added a couple of insurance runs in the bottom half of the frame. Romero would come back out in the ninth, sealing the win to earn his first save this season. While the left-hander won't overtake Ryan Helsley for the closing job, he's been solid in a setup role this season and has held opponents to just one run in his last six appearances (five innings). Romero now sports a 2.65 ERA through 57.2 innings this year with a 1.08 WHIP and 51:14 K:BB.

The veteran right-hander's lowered his ERA to 3.75 on the year with a 1.07 WHIP and 195 strikeouts (10 shy of a career high) across 160.2 innings.
