He was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, and the 26-year-old right-hander will likely remain in the Rockies' system after going unclaimed off waivers. Across 25 minor-league outings this season, Pint has a 3.10 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 29 innings.

Ryan Feltner - Could throw off mound Saturday Feltner (shoulder) said that he could throw a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.
Impact Placed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 8 with a right shoulder strain, Feltner appears to have a chance at returning from the shelf in the minimum length of time, or close to it. He said Friday that he's already resumed high-intensity throwing off flat ground, and advancing to mound work Saturday would represent another major step forward. The Rockies should shed light on the next steps for Feltner once he completes the side session.

Impact The right-hander will earn a second straight turn through the rotation after he fell just shy of delivering a quality start in his Rockies debut Monday, when he took a no-decision while limiting a potent Diamondbacks lineup to three earned runs on six hits and no walks. That outing came at a more neutral offensive environment at Chase Field, but Blalock will be difficult to rely upon Sunday while he pitches for the first time at the notoriously hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Kyle Freeland - Good to go for Saturday Freeland (finger) has been cleared to start Saturday's game against the Padres at Coors Field.
Impact Freeland said after his most recent start Sunday versus Atlanta that he developed a blister on his pinky finger during the outing, which likely played a part in him being lifted midway through the fourth inning after just 65 pitches. The southpaw was apparently able to complete his between-starts bullpen session without issue, so he's not expected to be limited by the blister when he takes the hill Saturday. Freeland owns a 5.75 ERA and 1.49 WHIP on the season but has surprisingly pitched effectively at Coors Field, logging a 3.06 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 23:8 K:BB over 32.1 innings in Colorado.

He continues to see steady playing time at first base, and it's been well-earned even though he's in the midst of a 13-game homer drought. Impact Beck has gone 5-for-11 with two RBI over three games since he rejoined the Rockies' 26-man roster. More impressively, he got the start and performed well against a right-handed starter (Matt Waldron) in Friday's contest. Beck is at a .222/.237/.333 slash line with two home runs, 10 RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases over 93 plate appearances in the majors this year. He'll still have to earn an everyday role, but the top prospect looks poised to push Sam Hilliard for playing time in left field.

Cal Quantrill - Yields three runs in win Quantrill (8-8) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings to earn the win over the Padres.
Impact Quantrill was scratched from a start earlier in the week due to forearm soreness. It doesn't appear to be a lingering issue at this point, as he threw 92 pitches Friday, though he gave up two home runs to Ha-Seong Kim and Xander Bogaerts. Quantrill hasn't pitched into the sixth inning in three starts, giving up 13 runs over 13 innings in that span. He's now at a 4.59 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 97:50 K:BB through 127.1 innings over 24 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Nationals.
