Jordan Beck - Activated, optioned to Triple-A The Rockies reinstated Beck (hand) from the 10-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Impact A fractured left hand has kept Beck on the shelf since late May, though he's been playing in rehab games since July 23. The 23-year-old is 5-for-25 with two RBI and five runs scored since moving his rehab to Triple-A, and he'll remain with the Isotopes now that he's made a full recovery. He figures to be on the shortlist for a return to Colorado if the Rockies' outfield depth is tested down the stretch, even though he only holds a .514 OPS through 81 MLB plate appearances.

Jake Bird - Sent back to minors The Rockies optioned Bird to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

Impact Bird has struggled to find his footing in the majors this season, accumulating a 6.12 ERA and 1.84 WHIP over 25 innings out of the bullpen. He'll head back to Triple-A in order to right the ship, and his roster spot will be given to Tanner Gordon, who will start Saturday's game versus San Diego.

Tanner Gordon - Officially recalled for start The Rockies recalled Gordon from Triple-A Albuquerque ahead of his start Saturday against the Padres.

Impact Gordon hasn't found much success through his first three MLB starts, surrendering 15 earned runs in just 15.1 innings while striking out 12 batters and walking two. Nonetheless, he'll rejoin the Rockies' rotation and presumably remain with the big-league club until German Marquez (elbow) returns from the IL. Jake Bird was optioned to Albuquerque in a corresponding move.

Antonio Senzatela - Throwing sim innings Senzatela (elbow) will throw a simulated inning over the weekend, MLB.com reports.

Impact Senzatela threw a simulated inning Wednesday and rebounded well. If his progress continues, the Rockies plan to send him on a lengthy rehab assignment as his next step.

Germán Márquez - Continuing to ramp up Marquez (elbow) will throw a bullpen session this weekend and will then be either activated or sent on a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Impact Marquez threw a 34-pitch bullpen session Thursday and mixed in his entire arsenal. He'll likely engage in a similar workout over the weekend and looks to be on track to be back at some point in early August.

Tanner Gordon - Rejoining rotation Saturday Gordon will be called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to start Saturday's game in San Diego.

Impact The Rockies optioned Gordon to Triple-A on Sunday, but because he had served as the club's 27th man in a doubleheader with the Giants a day earlier, he'll be eligible to rejoin the big club in fewer than 15 days. He looks like he'll hold down the No. 5 spot in the Colorado rotation until German Marquez (elbow) is able to return from the injured list. Gordon has made three starts for the Rockies this season, compiling an 8.80 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB in 15.1 innings.

Brendan Rodgers - Homers in three-hit game Rodgers went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Padres.

Impact Rodgers ended a 10-game homer drought when he opened the scoring in the second inning. He also knocked a double for the third time in four games. The second baseman hit just .221 in July, but he's already 5-for-8 over the first two games in August. For the season, he's produced a .271/.316/.402 slash line with eight long balls, 35 RBI, 44 runs scored, one stolen base, 19 doubles and a triple over 93 contests.

Victor Vodnik - Converts fifth save Vodnik walked one and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Padres.

Impact All five of Vodnik's saves this year have come since July 6. He's on a four-inning scoreless streak currently, picking up two saves with a 4:2 K:BB in that span. The right-hander has a 3.70 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 53:25 K:BB over 58.1 innings this season. He may not be a full-time closer, but Vodnik appears to be at least at the head of a committee that will likely also see high-leverage work for Tyler Kinley and Justin Lawrence.

Austin Gomber - Picks up third win Gomber (3-7) allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win Friday over the Padres.

Impact Gomber gave up solo home runs to Manny Machado and Donovan Solano, but he was able to limit the damage there. This was Gomber's third outing of at least seven innings this year, and it snapped a three-start winless skid. He's at a 4.66 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 84:28 K:BB through 116 innings over 21 starts this season. While homers remain an issue -- he's allowed 22 of them this year -- Gomber is still having his strongest campaign since 2021. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Mets.

Victor Vodnik has been serving as the primary closer for the Rockies in the absence of Daniel Bard, though Kinley got the late-inning call after the former was needed in the ninth. The 33-year-old has not allowed any hits or runs in three straight outings.

Michael Toglia - Smacks 19th homer in win Toglia went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Angels.

Impact Toglia jumped on the second pitch he saw from Carson Fulmer in the second inning and sent it into the stands for a two-run shot, giving Colorado an early lead. It marked the first baseman's third long ball in his last six games and his 10th since the start of July. Toglia has also tallied multiple hits in three of his last eight contests, batting .300 over that stretch with six RBI and seven runs scored.
