Zac Veen - Back in action at Double-A Veen (back/hand) was reinstated from Double-A Hartford's 7-day IL on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Impact A lower-back strain sent Veen to the IL in early June, though his stay was extended by a left hand injury he sustained later in the month. Now fully recovered, the 22-year-old outfielder will look to continue his strong season (.326/.418/.568 in 110 PA) in pursuit of a promotion to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Impact According to MLB.com, Rockies manager Bud Black said Marquez's surgically repaired elbow came out fine following his latest rehab start, during which he built up to 69 pitches and hit 99 miles per hour with his fastball. Black suggested that Marquez will make one more rehab start with Hartford on Tuesday, and if all goes well, the right-hander's next outing will likely come with the big club. Marquez would line up for a start during the Rockies' final game before the All-Star break Sunday versus the Mets, but the organization may be more inclined to give him some extra time to recover from Tuesday's outing and wait until after the break before activating him from the 60-day injured list.

Impact Gilbreath is working his way back from his March 14, 2023 Tommy John surgery, and though he was initially projected to return from the injured list in May, his 2024 debut was pushed back after he strained his shoulder earlier in the spring. According to the report, Gilbreath is considered fully recovered from the shoulder issue, so he's now in the process of building back up from elbow surgery. If he responds well to facing hitters, Gilbreath could begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League before eventually moving up to a higher-level affiliate later this month.

Kris Bryant - Targeting post-break return Bryant (oblique/rib) said Monday that he likely won't be activated from the 10-day injured list until after the All-Star break, MLB.com reports.
Impact Bryant took full batting practice in Cincinnati on Monday for the first time since landing on the shelf in early June with a left rib contusion and oblique strain. While Bryant suggested that he responded well to taking BP, he'll still need to go out on a minor-league rehab assignment before eventually making his return from the IL. The upcoming All-Star break will limit Bryant's opportunities to stockpile at-bats in game settings, but the 32-year-old still seems to be trending toward being activated before the end of July.

Impact Gordon was lit it up for five runs on eight hits in his MLB debut this past Sunday against the Royals, but the fact that he pitched into the seventh inning without issuing a walk and while striking out four batters offered some signs of encouragement. Ryan Feltner - Handed tough-luck loss Feltner (1-8) yielded two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over seven innings Monday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Reds.
Impact Feltner gave up a pair of runs in the fourth inning of what was otherwise a strong outing. He generated 14 swinging strikes on 92 pitches, his best output since forcing 22 whiffs in Philadelphia on April 17.
