Noah Davis - Confirmed for start SundayDavis will start Sunday's series finale against the Mariners, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
ImpactDavis will get the ball on Sunday to replace German Marquez (forearm) after Marquez was placed on the injured list. Davis has made three starts for Triple-A Albuquerque thus far with a 4.26 ERA and 1.65 WHIP over 12.2 innings of work, and he gave up two runs in an inning in his only MLB appearance of 2023.

Sam Haggerty - Dealing with head injuryHaggerty is currently dealing with a head injury and he could be placed on the seven-day concussion list, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
ImpactHaggerty is out of the lineup for Saturday's contest against the Rockies, but he likely would have been out anyway with a right-hander on the mound for Colorado in Ryan Feltner. The Mariners did select the contract of Jose Caballero to provide some insurance. Haggerty has been playing everyday against southpaws, but even if healthy he risks losing playing time when Dylan Moore (oblique) comes off the injured list in that role.
