Returns to mound Sunday Price (elbow) tossed 1.2 scoreless relief innings against San Francisco on Sunday, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out one. Impact The left-hander was scratched from his scheduled start Friday due to elbow soreness, and manager Dave Roberts subsequently suggested that Price may need an IL stint. Instead, the veteran took the mound just two days later. He struggled with his control, throwing only 15 of 28 pitches for strikes and issuing three free passes (one intentionally), but Price was able to escape without allowing a run. The Dodgers are in the midst of a 13-game stretch without an off day and can certainly use the rotation help, so Price could make a start this week if his elbow responds well to Sunday's outing.
