Spencer Turnbull - Final rehab start on tap Turnbull (neck) will make his sixth and final rehab start with Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact Turnbull has been sidelined since May with a neck injury but can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He has not pitched well on his rehab assignment, though, particularly since moving up to Toledo where he holds a 7.82 ERA in three starts. It would not seem to be a given that Turnbull joins the Tigers' rotation once his rehab window expires.

Javier Báez - Expected for second game Baez (bereavement) is expected back for the second game of Friday's doubleheader in Cleveland, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Impact Baez will not be available for the first game as he makes his way back from Puerto Rico where he was attending funeral services for his grandfather, but he is expected back in the lineup for the nightcap. Zach McKinstry is at shortstop for the afternoon tilt.

Joey Wentz - Starting Game 2 Wentz was promoted from Triple-A Toledo as the Tigers' 27th man and will start the second game of Friday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Impact Wentz was sent to Triple-A on Aug. 8 after accumulating a 7.03 ERA and 1.68 WHIP through 79.1 innings, but he'll be brought back up in order to prevent Detroit from using two rotation pieces in one day. Wentz was decent in his latest Triple-A start, allowing two runs in 5.2 frames, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect to get much out of him during Friday's spot start.
