With the new arrivals holding down the corner spots, Joc Pederson has shifted over to center field, leaving no room in the lineup for Heredia, who will sit for the fourth game in a row. While manager Brian Snitker could still use Heredia regularly against left-handed pitching, the 30-year-old could be the odd man out versus right-handed pitching if Atlanta is willing to play Pederson in center field, as it did Saturday.
