Martín Maldonado - On bench SaturdayMaldonado will sit Saturday against Seattle.
ImpactMaldonado has continued to feature heavily behind the plate despite the fact that he's hitting just .117/.200/.223 on the year. He'll hit the bench for the second time in three games Saturday, something which hadn't happened since late April, with Jason Castro starting behind the plate.

Jesse Winker - Returns to lineup SaturdayWinker (shoulder) is starting Saturday against the Astros, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
ImpactWinker was scratched from Friday's lineup due to right shoulder soreness, but he'll be back in action a day later. The 28-year-old went 3-for-18 with two runs, an RBI, three walks and four strikeouts over his last five games. He'll start in center field and lead off Saturday.

Ken Giles - Joins Triple-A Tacoma for rehabGiles (finger) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday.
ImpactGiles injured a tendon in his right middle finger shortly before the start of the regular season, delaying his return from Tommy John surgery. He'll pitch in an official game for the first time in over 20 months when he first appears for Tacoma, though he'll likely need more than just an outing or two before he's activated from the injured list given the length of his absence.

ImpactMeyers has been playing in extended spring training games as the designated hitter for a week and a half, but Saturday's matchup marked the first time that he had played defense in West Palm Beach. It's not yet clear when the 25-year-old will be able to begin a rehab assignment, but he's made good progress recently.

Jose Siri - Stays aggressive on basepathsSiri went 0-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base Friday against the Mariners.
ImpactSiri hasn't quite become an everyday player, though he has drawn four starts in the last six games at the expense of Chas McCormick. He picked up an RBI on a fielder's choice in the second inning and proceeded to steal his fifth base of the season -- four of which have come in his last five games. Siri has maintained a subpar a .230/.285/.368 line across 95 plate appearances on the season, but he could be a strong source of runs and stolen bases if he continues to command playing time.
