May start in RF Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Bradley could start in right field, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports. Impact When Boston brought Bradley back this offseason, it was presumed he'd be the starting center fielder, but Cora mentioned an outfield of Alex Verdugo in left field, Enrique Hernandez in center and Bradley in right. While Bradley made his reputation patrolling center field for Boston, the right field dimensions of Fenway Park requires an elite defender, so Bradley could be a good fit there. The elephant in the room, however, remains Bradley's bat. He batted .163 over 387 at-bats last season for Milwaukee. While a team might put up with a .230 hitter -- Bradley's career average -- as a trade off for elite defense, last year's performance is another story.
