Lamb has already been on assignment at Triple-A Charlotte and has posted an .805 OPS over that span, but the White Sox don't look to be in any rush to activate him. With Luis Robert (hip) on a similar timeline to return from the IL and with Eloy Jimenez, Andrew Vaughn, Brian Goodwin, Gavin Sheets, Adam Engel and Leury Garcia already on hand in the outfield, the White Sox may not have room for Lamb as another bench bat.
