Impact Heyward has been slumping lately, as he came into Wednesday having gone just 1-for-9 across his last nine appearances. The veteran outfielder didn't start Game 1 but was able to produce his first multi-hit effort since July 21 in the nightcap. Heyward is a fine defensive player, though his .590 OPS isn't moving the needle for fantasy owners. He may continue to find himself out of the lineup if the 56-73 Cubs decide to take a longer look at younger players.
