Impact In just his second game off the IL, Chisholm hammered an eight-inning Chris Murphy sweeper to straightaway center field at Fenway Park, a ball that traveled an estimated 439 feet. Chisholm has four hits in eight at-bats since rejoining the lineup, including a double and Wednesday's homer, his eighth of the season in 41 games.

Impact Seeing his first action for the Marlins in six weeks, Chisholm's toe didn't seem to be an issue as he ripped a first-inning Garrett Whitlock changeup off the wall just to the right of the Green Monster and raced around to second base. He also took an extra base after a two-run single in the eighth when the throw came home. Impact Chisholm is back in the fold with the Marlins ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Boston following a six-week absence for a bout of turf toe in his right foot. He'll eventually need surgery to fully correct the issue, but the dynamic 25-year-old is hoping to delay that procedure until the offseason. He had slashed .229/.291/.403 with seven homers and 14 steals in 39 games prior to landing on the IL in mid-May.

Might return during road trip Chisholm (toe) could be activated off the injured list during the Marlins' road trip this week, Jordan McPherson of The Miami Herald reports.

Lands on IL with turf toe Chisholm was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to May 14, with turf toe in his right foot, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Chisholm visited a specialist in North Carolina on Tuesday morning after injuring his toe over the weekend and the belief is that he could be out for much longer than 10 days. Garrett Hampson is making a second straight start in center field for the Marlins on Tuesday night against the Nationals. Jon Berti could also be an option for increased playing time given the other injuries on the outfield section of Miami's depth chart.
