Impact The 20-year-old had been scuffling in July, slashing .250/.299/.444 through 20 games with a 4:23 BB:K, but Chisholm put together an impressive debut in the Marlins' system after coming over from the Diamondbacks at the trade deadline. He'll need to solve his contact issues, but his athleticism and upside remain apparent -- on the year, he has 19 homers and 13 steals through 90 games at Double-A. If things begin to really click for Chisholm, a 2020 big-league debut isn't out of the question.

Impact The Marlins will cash out Gallen for a high-risk/high-reward shortstop prospect in Chisholm. He has a .204/.305/.427 slash line with 18 home runs and 13 steals in 89 games at Double-A. That power/speed upside has been on full display, but so have his swing-and-miss issues. He logged a 32.5 percent strikeout rate last year at High-A and has a 33.8 percent strikeout this year as a 21-year-old at Double-A. Chisholm needs to get back to the linedrive-oriented stroke he displayed in the Cal League in 2018, as he has turned into a three-true-outcomes hitter, despite having the tools (elite bat speed) to be much more than that.

"I'm just trying to get the right pitch to swing at, take more walks, be more patient at the plate now. I'm trying to let the pitcher come to me instead of going to them. That's been my approach lately," said the Diamondbacks' No. 2 prospect. Impact Chisholm cemented his status as one of the Diamondbacks' top position prospects after pacing the farm system with 25 home runs between Low-A Kane County and High-A Visalia this past season and has only kept raking while facing higher-caliber competition in the AFL. There's still some question whether Chisholm will be able to stick at shortstop over the long haul, but he would still profile as a plus-power bat in the middle infield if he's forced to shift over to the keystone.

Impact The 20-year-old's home run was his 25th of the season and was just one of two hits on the night for Visalia. While 15 of those long balls came at Low-A Kane County earlier in the campaign, Chisholm has actually raised his slugging percentage from .472 to .597 since moving up to Visalia in late July. He'll likely move up to the high minors at some point in 2019 and should enter next spring as the Diamondbacks' top middle-infield prospect.

Impact The hitter-friendly environments of the California League have surely inflated Chisholm's production, but his 1.028 OPS shouldn't be written off as a complete fluke. Prior to earning the promotion to Visalia, the 20-year-old displayed uncommon power for a middle-infield prospect at Low-A Kane County, amassing 15 home runs, 17 doubles and four triples. Chisholm's solid 8.6 percent walk rate between the two stops will likely help him offset a major downturn in his on-base percentage as his BABIP normalizes.

Impact The Bahamian was promoted Thursday, according to Renaldo Dorsett of Tribune 242, the newspaper from Chisholm's home country. Playing as one of the younger athletes in the Midwest League, this promotion will provide a stouter test in his progress, but he's quickly gaining more attention.
