Impact The Minnesota rookie retired the first 19 batters he faced before Amed Rosario broke up the party in the seventh with a single. The base hit was the only damage to Ryan's line, as he had Cleveland thoroughly perplexed for the entire outing and did not issue a free pass. While the right-hander doesn't possess wipeout velocity, his tendency to challenge hitters and an arm angle that makes the ball appear as if it's coming from his shoulder make him an interesting pitcher to watch.
