Hit by comebacker Ryan exited his start Tuesday against Cleveland after getting struck in the arm by a comebacker, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports. Impact Ryan was pitching well before a Myles Straw liner hit him in the sixth inning. In five innings of work, he allowed just one run on three hits and a walk while striking out five batters. The nature and severity of his injury aren't yet clear, but it's possible it's a bad one, as he marched straight to the dugout without even waiting for a visit from team trainers. Given that there's less than three weeks left in the regular season, anything more than a very minor issue could wind up shutting him down for the year.
