Appears destined for second With Spencer Torkelson making the Opening Day roster, per Jason Beck of MLB.com, Schoop will likely serve as the Tigers' primary second baseman this season.
Impact Schoop primarily worked at first base for the Tigers in 2021, but that's where Torkelson will be playing in 2022. That should shift Schoop back to the keystone, where he's played plenty in his nine-year MLB career. The veteran is coming off a solid season in which he provided 22 home runs and 84 RBI, and he should be a solid fantasy asset in the middle infield this year.
