On base three times Thursday Iglesias went 2-for-4 with a walk in Thursday's loss to the A's. Impact The veteran infielder got the start at second base and batted sixth, and he kept up the offensive production that has pushed him into a near-everyday role. Even with Jeff McNeil turning things around at the plate, Iglesias has started eight of 13 games so far in August, batting .313 (10-for-32) with two doubles, three RBI and four runs. The lack of counting stats makes him tough to roster in shallower formats however, and with Starling Marte (knee) potentially returning from the IL this weekend, Iglesias could find himself relegated to the short side of a platoon with McNeil at the keystone.
