Impact Jansen hasn't notched a save since Sept. 15, but he has racked up six consecutive scoreless outings. He's allowed just three hits and a walk while striking out eight in that span. The 32-year-old closer ends the regular season with a 3.33 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 11 saves in 13 chances.

Impact Jansen made things interesting, loading the bases with two singles and a walk. He then retired Wil Myers and Jake Cronenworth on strikeouts to avoid trouble. Jansen has converted 11-of-13 save chances this year, with a 3.54 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 28 strikeouts over 20.1 innings. He's pitched on three of the last four days, so he may not be used if a save situation arises in Wednesday's series-ending matinee.

Impact Per J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News, manager Dave Roberts was set on using Jansen "no matter what" after the closer imploded in a blown save Saturday. The intent, clearly, was to allow Jansen a chance to get back on the right track quickly, and he did just that with Sunday's easy outing. The veteran has successfully converted 10-of-12 save chances this season while registering a 12.1 K/9, which would be his highest mark since 2017.

Melts down against Houston Jansen (3-1) took the loss and blew the save against the Astros on Saturday, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits without retiring a batter.
Impact Jansen had no problem getting the ball over the plate in the disastrous outing -- 18 of his 21 pitches went for strikes -- but he was unable to locate his cutter, allowing Houston to scatter base hits at will. Los Angeles stuck with him in the hope that he'd be able to rediscover his early-season dominance, but the veteran never found his form and left the mound without recording an out. After an effective outing Sept. 4, Jansen had a superb 1.06 ERA and had surrendered only two earned runs on the season. Since that time, he has given up eight runs (six earned) in 1.1 frames to push his ERA all the way up to 3.93. The organization is likely to give their longtime closer a chance to get back on track over the final few weeks of the regular season, though there could be some urgency to ensure that Jansen doesn't carry over his recent struggles to the postseason.

Earns win despite struggles Jansen (3-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. He gave up three runs (two earned) on three hits while fanning one across 1.1 innings.
Impact Jansen entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with a runner on first, but the Dodgers escaped the threat by putting Tim Locastro out at home. He struggled in the 10th inning as well, giving up a two-run homer to Christian Walker and a two-out RBI single to David Peralta before ending the game with a strikeout. Jansen might have earned the win here, but he is not expected to be happy with his performance.
