Mike Trout - Aiming to return by end of July Trout (knee) has been swinging a bat as part of his rehab activities and is targeting a return to action by the end of July, per the Associated Press.
Impact Trout hasn't yet done work in the outfield, but he's anticipating being able to rejoin the Angels at the end of July. The future Hall of Famer told Bally Sports West, "I'm pretty sure it's going to be pretty soon" when referring to a potential return, though he didn't specify a date. Trout hasn't played in a game since going 0-for-3 against Philadelphia on April 29. It's not yet clear if he'll play in any minor-league rehab games prior to rejoining the big club.

Roansy Contreras - Picks up the save Sunday Contreras locked down his second career save in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners after striking out one over a perfect ninth inning.
Impact The Angels top three relivers were all unavailable after pitching both Friday and Saturday, so Contreras was called upon to close things out in the ninth. He got the job done quite easily and picked up a strikeout on Ty France in the process. Coming into Sunday, Contreras had given up eight runs (seven earned) over his last 7.2 innings, so it was encouraging to see him bounce back in a high-leverage situation. The 24-year-old owns a 4.66 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 34:19 K:BB in 38.2 innings and will presumably go back to a middle/long relief role after the team returns from the All-Star break.

Carson Fulmer - Excellent in spot start Fulmer did not allow a hit or a run over 4.2 innings of work Sunday against the Mariners. He walked one and struck out seven and did not factor into the decision.
Impact Fulmer was perfect for 4.2 innings before Keston Hiura made an error. Fulmer then hit and walked a batter to load the bases, which abruptly ended his day at 77 pitches. Hunter Strickland came on in relief and was able to strand the runners. Fulmer's seven strikeouts were the most he's had in any outing since he had nine back on Sept. 10, 2017. His 77 pitches and 4.2 innings were both the most he's thrown this year. The 30-year-old has been a nice pickup for the Angels' bullpen this year, as he heads into the break with a 3.45 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 49:23 K:BB in 47 innings.

Impact Adell came through in the clutch with a three-run homer off Austin Voth in the eighth inning to put the Angels in front 3-2. He heads into the All-Star break with five RBI over his last three games but is still struggling mightily as a whole on the year. The 25-year-old is slashing .190/.255/.399 with 15 homers, 43 RBI, 36 runs and a 20:86 BB:K in 290 plate appearances so far.

Impact Guillorme had been in line to make just his third start in the last seven games, but the back injury thwarted those plans.
