ImpactScherzer was his normal confounding self Saturday, baffling the Reds to the tune of two hits and no runs. While the right-hander's streak of 25 innings without issuing a walk came to an end, the three-time Cy Young Award winner has now gone an astounding 37 innings without allowing an earned run. Scherzer also hasn't allowed a home run since Aug. 21 and hasn't been charged with a loss since May 30. Now might be a good time to remind you that he's doing all of this at the age of 37. Scherzer's next chance to further his incredible run should come Thursday against the Rockies.

Sonny Gray - Allows four runs in lossGray (7-8) allowed four runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts through six innings, taking the loss in Saturday's 5-1 defeat to the Dodgers.

After pitching to a 1.80 ERA over his previous five starts, it's safe to say Gray won't be too pleased with how this outing ended.
