Adam Oller - Set for call-upThe Marlins are expected to select Oller's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Monday's game against Arizona, Ari Alexander of KPRC Houston reports.
ImpactOller signed a minor-league contract with Miami on July 9 and logged a 2.88 ERA across 25.0 innings for Jacksonville. The 29-year-old spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Athletics, logging a 6.30 and a 10.07 ERA, respectively. Oller doesn't have elite strikeout stuff and hasn't historically performed at the MLB level, so he'll be a risky streaming option. Considering the Marlins are dealing with plenty of injuries, Oller will have a chance to earn more starts if he performs well Monday.
