Inks deal with Angels Lorenzen signed a one-year, $7 million contract with the Angels on Sunday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports. Impact Lorenzen pitched exclusively for the Reds across his first seven seasons in the majors, but he'll now join the Angels on a short-term deal. The 29-year-old converted all four of his save chances and posted a 5.59 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 29 innings across 27 appearances in 2021. The right-hander will likely be in the mix for a high-leverage role with the Angels in 2022.
