Impact The 27-year-old slugger continues to rake. Tellez has multiple hits in three straight games and five of his last 10, and over that stretch he's slashing .378/.452/.838 with four homers and 16 RBI. While he will still sit against the occasional lefty, Tellez appears to have seized the starting first base job for Milwaukee, and his path to everyday at-bats got clearer after Keston Hiura was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Josh Hader - Notches 11th save Hader struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 11th save of the season in a 6-3 win over Atlanta.

Impact A brief bout of back spasms couldn't derail Hader, as he fired 15 of 19 pitches for strikes in his first appearance since April 27. The southpaw has yet to give up a run or blow a save so far this year, and batters have managed only two hits off Hader in 10.1 innings.

Eric Lauer - Sharp in third win Lauer (3-0) picked up the win Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks over 6.1 innings in a 6-3 victory over Atlanta. He struck out eight.

Impact The southpaw tossed 94 pitches (59 strikes) as he reeled off his fourth straight quality start. The three free passes were a season high for Lauer and he did serve up another homer, his fourth in 29.2 innings on the year, but it's hard to argue with the career-high 36.2 percent strikeout rate he compiled so far. Lauer will take a 18.2 ERA and 0.94 WHIP into his next outing.

Impact The 28-year-old missed out on the Opening Day roster but will join the big-league club ahead of Friday's series opener in Atlanta. Perdomo sat out the 2021 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery and had a strong start to the season at Triple-A Nashville with a 2.25 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB across 12 innings.

Keston Hiura - Sent to Triple-A Hiura was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Impact Hiura went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and three strikeouts Thursday against the Reds, but the long ball wasn't enough to retain his spot on the big-league roster. He has a .688 OPS in 42 plate appearances, but his 47.6 percent strikeout rate remains a significant issue. Hiura should receive more regular playing time down with Nashville.

Impact Kelly was hit hard in his first High-A start late in 2021, but he has shined in his first full season at that level, posting a 2.49 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 33:14 K:BB in 21.2 innings over five starts. Kelly was a second-round pick in 2019 and is one of the Brewers' better pitching prospects, so he will have a chance to move up the ranks this summer.
