Adrian Houser - Picks up another win Houser (3-2) earned the win Thursday, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and one walk across five innings in a 10-5 win over the Reds. He struck out six.

Impact Houser struggled out of the gate, allowing four singles and three runs in the top of the first, but the 29-year-old was able to settle down and tossed back-to-back scoreless innings after the bumpy start. Tyler Stephenson tagged Houser for a solo shot in the fourth and another run came around to score in the fifth, but it wasn't charged to Hauser due to a throwing error from Omar Narvaez. Thanks to another dominant showing from the Brewers' offense, Houser didn't need his best stuff to earn a third straight win.

Josh Hader - Good to go Thursday Hader said he's no longer experiencing mid-back spasms and will be available out of the bullpen for Thursday's series finale with the Reds, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Impact The Brewers have stayed away from Hader since April 27 while he tended to the injury, allowing Devin Williams to temporarily step in as the team's closer. In spite of the missed time, Hader still enters Thursday's action tied for second in the majors with 10 saves on the season. The three-time All-Star should immediately reclaim closing duties now that he's healthy again.

Andrew McCutchen - Four hits, four RBI in win McCutchen went 4-for-5 with a double, four RBI and two runs in the 18-4 win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Impact Breaking a three-game hitless streak in a big way, McCutchen ripped an RBI single off Vladimir Gutierrez in the bottom of the first inning before adding another single in the third frame and coming around to score on a Rowdy Tellez grand slam. The 35-year-old later walked and scored on Tellez's second long ball of the contest in the sixth and doubled in two runs in the seventh. He notched his fourth hit on an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring Lorenzo Cain and reaching four RBI on the day. McCutchen has operated as the Brewers' primary designated hitter in 2022, producing a .242 batting average with two homers and 14 RBI over 95 at-bats in 24 games.
