Sal Frelick - Diagnosed with bone bruise Frelick was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left hip Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Impact The Brewers believe Frelick was able to avoid any structural damage as a result of his collision with the wall in right field Friday, so the 24-year-old will avoid the injured list for now and remain eligible to play in the NL Wild Card Series. Isaac Collins will start in left field Saturday, though Blake Perkins figures to take on the majority of Frelick's reps.

Brice Turang - Steals three bags to reach 50 Turang went 3-for-4 with three steals, a double and three runs scored in Friday's 8-4 victory over the Mets.

Impact The Milwaukee second baseman notched his second three-steal game of the season, with the other also coming against the Mets back on March 30. Turang becomes the fifth Brewer all-time to reach the 50-steal mark and first since Jonathan Villar in 2016. After hitting .277 across 92 games in the first half, Turang has struggled since the All-Star break, batting just .219 (48-for-219) over 61 games. This performance also marked his first multi-hit showing in his last 10 games. Overall, Turang is now batting .254 with 24 doubles, seven homers, 72 runs scored and 57 RBI while going 50-for-56 in steals.

Impact With typical closer Devin Williams completing a 21-pitch save Thursday, manager Pat Murphy called upon Megill, who secured his first save since July 23. The 30-year-old flamethrower required only 14 pitches -- 13 of which were strikes -- to complete his first save of more than three outs this season. Overall, Megill has been one of the most dependable relievers in the league, pitching to a 2.72 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 50:14 K:BB with 21 saves across 46.1 total innings.

Sal Frelick - Set for MRI on hip Manager Pat Murphy said after Friday's game that Frelick will receive an MRI on his left hip Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Impact Murphy added that initial X-rays on Frelick's hip were inconclusive after the 24-year-old outfielder left Friday's contest following a collision with a cut-out portion of the right field wall. The results of his MRI will give the team a better idea of his status for the rest of the weekend series and the start of the postseason, but he should be considered day-to-day for now. If Frelick ends up having to miss time, Blake Perkins and Garrett Mitchell would likely take on an everyday role in Milwaukee's outfield.
