Impact Bukauskas was placed on the injured list Sunday with what had been referred to as a right lat strain, but further testing revealed the injury is actually to his triceps. There remains no timetable for his return, as more testing still needs to be done.

Blake Perkins - Late-game heroics not enough Perkins went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 6-4 loss to Baltimore.

Impact Perkins belted a go-ahead homer in the seventh inning off Yennier Cano. However, the Orioles immediately took back the lead in the bottom of the seventh. Still, Perkins racked up his second three-hit game of 2024 and has generated a hit in six of seven appearances. In 26 at-bats, Perkins owns a team-leading .385 batting average with a 1.082 OPS.

Abner Uribe - Takes loss after blowing save Uribe (1-1) took the lose and blew the save Sunday against Baltimore. He allowed three hits and two runs over one inning without logging a strikeout.

Impact Uribe trotted out to the mound for the seventh inning with a one-run lead and gave up three consecutive singles to open the frame. With one run already plated and runners on first and third with no outs, Uribe got Adley Rutschman to ground into a double-play but the runner on third scored and gave the Orioles the lead. Uribe has blown back-to-back save chances after starting the campaign 3-for-3, falling to a 7.50 ERA over six innings. With the Brewers near the top of the National League standings, Uribe could start leaking ninth-inning work if he doesn't turn things around.

Rea struggled to keep the ball inside Oriole Park, allowing solo home runs to Cedric Mullins in the second inning and to Ryan O'Hearn in the third inning for his first two homers given up this season. Through 16.2 innings, Rea owns a 2.70 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP and is set up to face the Cardinals on Saturday.
