Aaron Ashby - Won't start this weekAshby isn't scheduled to start during the Brewers' upcoming three-game series in Miami this weekend and is expected to work out of the bullpen, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
ImpactMilwaukee plays only six games this week, so the club will move back to a five-man rotation, leaving Ashby as the odd man out. Ashby faltered in his third start of the season Sunday in Atlanta, surrendering a season-high six earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three in four innings.

Jonathan India - Gets in agility workIndia (hamstring) took part in agility drills on the field prior to Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Jake Cousins - Avoiding surgery for nowCousins (elbow) has opted against undergoing Tommy John surgery and will begin a rehab program for 6-to-8 weeks before being re-evaluated, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe 27-year-old is dealing with a UCL injury in his right elbow and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, though he'll avoid surgery for the time being. Cousins will likely be out through the All-Star break even if the rehab program goes smoothly since he'll need some time to rebuild his arm strength.
