Impact Once again Archer pitched well, but he didn't last long enough to qualify for a potential win. He has now pitched exactly four innings in four of his last five starts, giving up a total of five runs over 16 innings in those outings. The Twins seem satisfied limiting his innings, but Archer's success on the mound may force their hand and he could see deeper run as the season goes on. The 33-year-old now owns a 3.86 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 28 punchouts in 30.1 innings over eight starts.

Danny Coulombe - Could return Thursday Coulombe (hip) could return from the injured list when first eligible Thursday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Impact Coulombe has been out with a left hip impingement, but it doesn't seem as though the injury is particularly serious. He made one rehab appearance Sunday and will make another Tuesday, at which point he'll hopefully be cleared to return.

Gilberto Celestino - Retreats to bench Celestino is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Impact Celestino started the past three games for the Twins, going a collective 4-for-7 with four walks and two runs while extending his hitting streak to seven games in the process. Despite getting somewhat spotty playing time this season, Celestino has delivered an excellent .359/.438/.422 slash line in 75 plate appearances. However, with Trevor Larnach returning from the injured list Sunday, Celestino looks like he'll be the team's fourth outfielder moving forward behind Byron Buxton, Max Kepler and Larnach.

Impact Steer will move up to Triple-A after he produced a .976 OPS in 156 plate appearances for Wichita to begin the 2022 campaign. The OPS represents an increase of more than 200 points from the mark he posted over a 280-plate-appearance sample with Wichita in 2021.

Since yielding four runs in his first start of 2022, the 26-year-old has given up five runs (three earned) over his last 19.2 frames. Ober will carry a 2.55 ERA into his projected rematch against the Royals at home next week.
