Still sidelined Cruz (knee) remains on the bench Wednesday against the Tigers, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports. Impact Cruz was scratched from the lineup Saturday with a sore right knee and now sits for the fourth straight game. He hasn't appeared off the bench over that stretch. The Twins have already clinched a playoff berth, so being cautious with Cruz's 40-year-old knees makes plenty of sense. According to Park, the veteran slugger is available off the bench, though the team figures to be selective in any potential usage. Eddie Rosario rests his legs as the designated hitter Wednesday, with Jake Cave starting in left field.
