Jesse Winker - Dealt to Mets The Nationals and Mets agreed to a trade Saturday contingent upon players passing physicals that will send Winker to New York, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. Impact Assuming all players involved are medically cleared, Winker will bolster the Mets' corner outfield depth and could see some action at DH. In Jeff McNeil and Brandon Nimmo, the Mets already have a pair of quality lefty-handed bats in the corner outfield positions, and J.D. Martinez has been the team's everyday DH, leaving Winker's immediate role up in the air. Winker is batting .257 on the year with 11 homers, 14 steals, 51 runs and 45 RBI.
