Max Scherzer - Throws bullpen sessionScherzer (neck) threw a 35-pitch bullpen session Friday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

ImpactIt was Scherzer's first time on the mound since he got scratched from his scheduled start Tuesday versus the Reds due to neck spasms. Those spasms lingered for a couple of days, but Healey notes that the veteran right-hander finished with a fist-bump after Friday's workout and will likely get the call for the Mets on Sunday against the Nationals.
