Wandisson Charles - Optioned to Double-ACharles (undisclosed) was optioned to Double-A Midland on Sunday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactCharles arrived at camp Sunday after dealing with visa issues, but he'll work with the team's minor leaguers ahead of the regular season. He missed the entire 2021 campaign with an unspecified injury, and it's not yet clear whether he's healthy this spring.

Cody Thomas - Optioned to Triple-AThomas (Achilles) was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThomas underwent offseason Achilles surgery and isn't available for camp, and he should report to the Triple-A level when healthy. He appeared in 59 games for Las Vegas last year and slashed .289/.363/.665 with 18 home runs, 52 RBI and 46 runs. If the 27-year-old performs well once he's healthy, it wouldn't be surprising to see him make his major-league debut at some point in 2022.

Luis Barrera - Sent down SundayBarrera was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactBarrera missed the first week of spring training due to visa issues, and it appears as though he'll begin the 2022 campaign in Las Vegas. He made 96 appearances at the Triple-A level last year and slashed .276/.348/.393 with four homers, 53 runs, 37 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
