Yasmani Grandal - Slugs ninth homer Grandal went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Yankees.

Impact The veteran catcher got the Pirates' offense going with a solo shot off Luis Gil in the second inning, one of five long balls by Pittsburgh on the afternoon. It's Grandal's first multi-hit performance since Aug. 21, and first three-hit effort since Aug. 4. On the season, the 35-year-old sports a .228/.304/.400 slash line with nine homers and 27 RBI in 215 plate appearances.

Mike Burrows - Recalled from Indianapolis The Pirates recalled Burrows from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Impact Burrows has spent nearly the entire season with Indianapolis, posting a 4.06 ERA and 1.42 WHIP across 37.2 innings. Although he was used primarily as a starter, he'll most likely used in a multi-inning role out of the bullpen with Pittsburgh. If he's able to get into one of the Pirates' final two regular-season games, the 24-year-old righty will be making his MLB debut.

The 23-year-old Jones will finish his rookie campaign with a 4.14 ERA and 1.19 WHIP alongside a 132:39 K:BB across 22 starts.
