ImpactNaquin has been out for nearly two weeks with bruised ribs, though he didn't hit the injured list until last Friday. Reports from that time indicated that it was unlikely the outfielder would make it back by the end of the year, and that's now been confirmed by manager David Bell. Naquin will finish the season with 19 homers and five steals in 454 plate appearances to go along with a .270/.333/.477 slash line. The Reds haven't settled on a regular center fielder since he's been sidelined, with Delino DeShields, Jose Barrero and TJ Friedl representing the team's top options.
