Could benefit from shortened season Quinn could potentially benefit from the shortened season, as his durability concerns should matter less with fewer games, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports. Impact Quinn is an intriguing talent, but he's never been able to play 100 games in a season as a professional and hasn't even played 80 games in a campaign since back in 2016. With the season as a whole not likely to last more than 80 games, though, that should be less of an issue this season. Playing-time questions remain, however, as the Phillies are likely to give 2017 eighth-overall pick Adam Haseley the chance to prove he's an everyday center fielder. Quinn's speed makes him an interesting option should regular playing time open up at some point, however.
