Neither player has done much at the plate in their limited major-league opportunities, with Quinn posting an 89 wRC+ in 334 plate appearances and Haseley posting a nearly-identical 88 wRC+ in 242 trips to the plate. Quinn probably has more fantasy upside should he earn a majority of the starts, as he's stolen 23 bases compared to just four for Haseley. Quinn comes with significant durability concerns, though, having never once cleared 100 games played as a professional.

To get first shot at starting role Haseley is expected to be given the chance to prove he's worthy of an everyday role during a potential 2020 campaign, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
Impact The 2017 eighth-overall pick made the jump to the majors last season despite playing just 18 games at the Triple-A level and held his own, posting a .266/.324/.396 slash line in 67 games -- passable marks for a player whose outfield defense graded out well by both DRS and UZR. A repeat of those numbers might not be enough to keep Haseley from losing time to speedy fourth outfielder Roman Quinn, but he could get the chance at the start of the season to prove he can ascend to another level at the plate.

Impact Quinn is an intriguing talent, but he's never been able to play 100 games in a season as a professional and hasn't even played 80 games in a campaign since back in 2016. With the season as a whole not likely to last more than 80 games, though, that should be less of an issue this season. Playing-time questions remain, however, as the Phillies are likely to give 2017 eighth-overall pick Adam Haseley the chance to prove he's an everyday center fielder. Quinn's speed makes him an interesting option should regular playing time open up at some point, however.
