Will start rehab next week Feltner (back) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Impact Feltner was placed on the 15-day injured list May 2 after dealing with back spasms. He's expected to make a pair of rehab starts at Triple-A before rejoining the Rockies' rotation. Feltner registered a 4.75 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 25:12 K:BB across six starts spanning 30.1 innings before landing on the IL.

Impact Feltner has been on the injured list since early May but has now completed both a side and bullpen session. It's unclear how many starts he may need prior to activation, though a return in mid-June appears realistic.

He took the loss in that outing after allowing five runs on a season-high 10 hits and appeared to have aggravated the injury in the process. He's eligible to be activated off the IL on May 14, but he'll undergo further tests to establish a concrete timeline for his return. The Rockies recalled Bradley Blalock from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move.
