Manny Machado - Belts decisive homer Machado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 2-1 victory versus the Mets on Saturday.
Impact Offense was hard to come by for both teams in the contest, and Machado's two-run, sixth-inning blast turned out to be the decisive hit in the contest. The All-Star third baseman is batting just .185 through 18 games in July, though four of his 12 hits this month have left the park. Machado leads the Padres with 16 homers, 53 RBI and 96 hits on the campaign.

The veteran outfielder was the designated hitter in all but one of his contests in Single-A, but he played first base for the Chihuahuas in his first game with the Triple-A club.
