Bryce Johnson - Nabs another steal Johnson drew a walk, stole a base and scored a run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Mets.
Impact Johnson only received one plate appearance despite starting the game -- he was lifted for Joc Pederson in the fifth inning. This was Johnson's second start since he was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on June 22. The speedy outfielder is up to three steals, one home run, three RBI and seven runs scored through 48 plate appearances. He's gotten into 30 games, but he primarily works as a pinch runner and defensive replacement.

Blake Sabol - Homers off bench Sabol went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Mets.
Impact Sabol went deep in the seventh inning, but the Giants' comeback effort fell short. He snapped a 20-game homer drought. The 25-year-old has hit safely in four straight games, going 4-for-13 (.308) over that span. For the season, he's slashing .250/.313/.413 with eight homers, 28 RBI, 25 runs scored and two stolen bases over 218 plate appearances. Tristan Beck - Returns from thumb injury Beck has pitched twice since recovering from a cut on his thumb, covering 4.1 scoreless innings while allowing four hits and two walks with two strikeouts.
Impact Beck left his June 25 appearance versus the Diamondbacks with a cut on his thumb, but it was always expected to be a minor issue. He's been an effective long-relief option for the Giants this season, pitching to a 3.20 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 35:12 K:BB through 45 innings across 18 appearances. Impact Stripling has thrown five total innings in two appearances since returning from a trip to the injured list. He's given up just one run during that span but his season ERA still sits at 6.51 across 37.1 innings. It's unclear if the Giants plan to move him back into a traditional starting role for his next outing.

Alex Wood - Struggles with command Wood (3-3) alowed five runs (four earned) on two hits and four walks over 1.2 innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Mets.
Impact Wood came out of the bullpen after Ross Stripling fired two shutout frames and immediately ran into trouble. The Mets plated three runs on Wood in the third inning followed by two more in the fourth. Thairo Estrada - Dealing with wrist issue Estrada will be re-evaluated Monday after being hit by a pitch on his wrist during Sunday's loss to the Mets, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Estrada was hit by a pitch in the top of the eighth inning but remained in the game down the stretch. The extent of his injury isn't yet clear, but he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener against the Mariners.
