Thairo Estrada - Reinstated from injured list The Giants activated Estrada (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Impact Estrada missed the last three-plus weeks with a left wrist sprain but is ready to go after a five-game rehab stint which saw him go 9-for-21 with one home runs. Brett Wisely was sent down to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Heliot Ramos - Goes deep Sunday Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Impact Ramos got the Giants on the board with a solo blast to center off J.P. Sears in the seventh for his first home run since Aug.7. Ramos' bat has cooled off a bit over the last 10 days. In 10 games since Aug. 8, he's slashing .200/.256/.350 with two RBI, three runs and a 3:14 BB:K. He's struck out multiple times in six of the 10 games over that span. He's still been putting together an excellent campaign overall, slashing .279/.335/.490 with 18 homers, 57 RBI, 36 runs, four steals and a 29:102 BB:K in 373 plate appearances.

Jerar Encarnación - Hits go ahead home run Encarnacion went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Impact Encarnacion led off the top of the 10th with a two-run blast against Dany Jimenez to give the Giants their first lead of the game and ultimately give them the win. It was his second home run and third game with multiple hits since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento at the beginning of the month. Encarnacion has started in 12-of-14 games since his promotion and is slashing .255/.300/.447 with seven RBI, five runs, a steal and a 3:14 BB:K in 50 plate appearances.

Michael Conforto - Homers as pinch hitter Conforto went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Impact Conforto entered the game as a pinch hitter in the 10th and extended the Giants' lead with a solo blast off Dany Jimenez. The home run was his third this month but just his second extra-base hit since Aug. 6. He's hitting just .190 with 10 strikeouts over his last 26 plate appearances and the home run was his first RBI since Aug. 9. For the year, Conforto is slashing .236/.317/.439 with 13 homers, 51 RBI, 39 runs and a 36:90 BB:K in 372 plate appearances.

Ryan Walker - Picks up win Sunday Walker (8-3) got the win over the Athletics on Sunday, allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk while striking out five over two innings.

Impact Walker entered in the bottom of the ninth looking to send the game to extras with the score tied 1-1. He successfully did so and then came back out for the bottom of the 10th with a 4-1 lead after the Giants tacked on three. Walker found himself in a jam with the bases loaded and nobody out and struck out three batters in a row to seal the deal. He's now put together eight straight outings without giving up an earned run and has piled up three holds, a win and a save while posting a 14:2 K:BB over that span. For the year, Walker owns an impressive 2.10 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 79:15 K:BB in 64.1 innings.

Blake Snell - Posts another dominant outing Snell did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over the Athletics, allowing one run on six hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings.

Impact Snell was engaged in a pitcher's duel with J.P. Sears for much of the game. The first run was eventually scored by the Athletics in the sixth inning and that's all Snell would give up. He did find himself in a bases loaded jam in the seventh with one out but was able to get out of it unharmed. Over his last eight starts, Snell has posted a 1.03 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 70:16 K:BB in 52.1 innings. He leads MLB starting pitchers in ERA and is tied for first in WHIP over that span. Snell also has double-digit strikeouts in four of his last five starts. For the year, the 31-year-old owns a 3.67 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 101:30 K:BB in 76 innings. He lines up for a home matchup against the Mariners his next time out.

Randy Rodríguez - Facing multi-week shutdown Giants manager Bob Melvin said Sunday that Rodriguez (elbow) will be shut down from throwing for at least a couple weeks, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Impact The right-hander landed on the injured list Thursday due to elbow inflammation, and that diagnosis was confirmed after undergoing an MRI. Rodriguez has yet to be ruled out for the season, but he'll likely need to avoid any setbacks in his recovery to have a chance of rejoining the Giants in late September.
