Impact Conforto has at least one extra-base hit in each of his last four games, and he's logged multiple hits in three of those contests. The homer was his second of August, which has already been a better power month for the outfielder than July (one homer in 24 games). Conforto is at a .236/.313/.442 slash line with 12 homers, 46 RBI, 34 runs scored, 22 doubles, two triples and no stolen bases over 90 contests this season, and he's worth checking on in fantasy while he's on a roll. Despite his inconsistency at the plate this year, he's been a near-everyday player in left field when healthy.

Impact Birdsong just didn't have it, surrendering seven runs in the shortest of his seven major-league appearances. He struggled with his command, issuing three walks and allowing two homers while generating only two swinging strikes on 66 pitches. While one rough outing doesn't negate the success he had entering Tuesday, the rookie has yielded 18 free passes across 32.1 innings and will likely experience some growing pains on nights when he doesn't get whiffs.
