Impact Caballero's two homers this season have come in his last two games. He made it a 5-0 lead for the Mariners with his second-inning blast. Prior to finding his power swing, he'd gone 3-for-17 across his previous eight games. The infielder is slashing .276/.371/.431 with 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and six stolen bases through 70 plate appearances in his first taste of the big leagues. Luis Castillo - Bounces back Monday Castillo (3-2) earned the win Monday over the Athletics, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out eight over six scoreless innings.
Impact The Mariners had an 8-0 lead when Castillo exited the contest, allowing him to cruise to a win after he was tagged for seven runs in five innings in his last start. Castillo kept runs off the board in three of his first four starts of the season, but had given up 14 runs (12 earned) across his three most recent efforts before bouncing back Monday. He now has a 2.97 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 66:13 K:BB through 57.2 innings this season. Castillo is projected for a home start versus the Pirates this weekend.

Penn Murfee - Could return in early June Murfee (elbow) is expected to rejoin the Mariners in early June, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Impact Murfee landed on the injured list earlier this month with elbow inflammation, but he received a PRP injection "a week ago and is feeling better." He should begin a rehab assignment soon, and if all goes well he could be back with the big club at some point during Seattle's road trip that stretches from June 1-11.

Impact White landed on the injured list in April with a left adductor strain, and the decision was ultimately made to send him under the knife. A timeline for his recovery was not revealed, but his absence will likely wind up being measured in months.
