Impact Murphy was excellent Tuesday, with his seventh-inning blast off Andrew Heaney serving as the highlight. While Murphy doesn't play much as the Mariners' backup catcher, he has multiple hits in four of his last five games. The 32-year-old is slashing .244/.262/.415 through 42 plate appearances.

George Kirby - Pitches seven shutout innings Kirby (4-2) scattered six hits and struck out nine batters over seven shutout innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Rangers.

Impact Kirby threw 75 of 101 pitches for strikes, which included a solid 11 whiffs. The nine strikeouts were a season high for Kirby in what was his sixth straight quality start. He's gone at least seven innings in each of his last three outings. For the season, he owns a 2.62 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 35:3 K:BB over 44.2 innings through seven starts. He'll look to keep rolling in his next game, tentatively projected to be a road start in Boston next week.

Andrés Muñoz - Rehab assignment not coming soon Munoz (shoulder) underwent a PRP shot last week, and he won't be ready to go out on a rehab assignment until the end of the month, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Munoz underwent an MRI after not feeling right after his last bullpen session, and it showed minor inflammation in his right shoulder. What was originally announced as a minor injury that could only require the right-hander to miss the minimum 15 days has now seen him miss over a month, and it'll be at least another three weeks before he's able to return to the Seattle bullpen. Paul Sewald will continue to see the majority of save chances for Seattle while Munoz recovers.

Dylan Moore - Closing in on rehab assignment Moore (oblique) is getting closer to returning to baseball activity and he could go out on a rehab assignment in 8-to-10 days, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Moore was taken off his rehab assignment late in April because of issues stemming from his surgically repaired core muscle and scar tissue that had built up from his offseason surgery. Moore will likely need a lengthy rehab assignment once he's able to proceed, but he could see significant playing time for Seattle near the end of May if he doesn't suffer another setback.
