Max Fried - Begins lifting weightsFried (forearm) has been able to lift weights, but there's been no sign he's close to resuming throwing, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ImpactFried hit the injured list in early May with a strained left forearm, and while he's yet to be placed on the 60-day injured list, initial reports suggested he'd miss at least two months. It's a positive to see him beginning to work his way back, but manager Brian Snitker didn't know when the lefty was set to be re-evaluated, so it doesn't appear as though he's about to be cleared to throw.

Cal Raleigh - Day off SaturdayRaleigh is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Atlanta.

Dylan Moore - Reaches safely in rehab resumptionMoore (oblique) started at shortstop and played five innings in High-A Everett's loss to Spokane on Thursday, going 0-for-2 with a walk.
ImpactMoore will be working up toward playing a full game on defense in coming days, but Thursday served as a good foundation for the resumption of his rehab assignment. The valued utility asset appears likely to make his regular-season debut at the big-league level at some point toward the beginning of June if all continues without setbacks during his time in the minors.

J.P. Crawford - Multi-hit effort in lossCrawford went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to Atlanta on Friday.
ImpactThe veteran shortstop stuck in the leadoff spot while reaching safely for the 15th straight start. Crawford's .244 average and .341 slugging percentage leave plenty to be desired, but his .370 on-base percentage, partly fueled by a 16.0 percent walk rate, gives him solid top-of-order credentials as manager Scott Servais looks to get Julio Rodriguez's offense ignited from more of the middle of the lineup.
