Returning on short restKremer will start Saturday against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

ImpactKremer will be on three days' rest, as he most recently took the hill Tuesday against the Mariners. He was knocked out of that game after throwing just 54 pitches, however, so he should be allowed to go fairly deep into Saturday's contest if he can keep runs off the board.

Shifts to 60-day ILPaxton (forearm) was placed on the 60-day injured list Friday.

ImpactThe team announce earlier this week the 32-year-old will require Tommy John surgery, so it was only a matter of time before he moved to the 60-day IL. Paxton will miss the rest of the season and is looking at a potential return during the middle of the 2022 campaign.

ImpactThe 26-year-old landed on the COVID IL at the start of the week but clear the league's protocols within a few days since he apparently never tested positive for the virus. Misiewicz has yet to give up a run through 3.2 innings for the Mariners this season.
